When ready to prepare…

Thaw overnight in the refrigerator, or for quick thaw, use a microwave defrost setting. Once thawed, cakes can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days for best quality.

 With clean and loving hands form into tight balls, then press into cakes that are 1⁄4 to 1⁄2 inch thick.

 PREPARATIONS:

 To cook in a skillet : Generously oil a skillet (olive or avocado recommended). Heat pan to medium, sauté until golden brown on each side and until hot in middle or the internal temp reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

 To cook in the oven: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare a baking sheet. Spray each side of the salmon cake generously with oil. Bake 6-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
